After converting a PDF file to a PPTX file, it cannot be edited, and the error message displayed is: “Editing text does not support Type 3 fonts.” What is the reason for this? If we subscribe to the paid version, will it support font editing, and will it retain the original PDF file’s fonts when converting PDF to PPTX?
Hello @felo ,
Thank you for reaching out.
This is not typical behavior for our library. Even if a license is not set before converting a PDF to PPTX, the resulting PPTX file should still be editable.
It seems we will need your assistance to investigate this issue further. Could you please provide:
- the original PDF document,
- the code sample you’re using for the conversion,
- and specify which operating system the process is running on?
The original PDF document is too large to upload. I used your online conversion site for the conversion: https://products.groupdocs.app/conversion/total#folderName=3e34daa4-269d-4dc6-ac0b-3fdffb570ea4, and the operating system is Windows 11.
Are you experiencing this issue with a specific PDF? If so, could you please at least share the font format used in the problematic file? Otherwise, you can upload the source file to some cloud storage (e.g. Google Drive) and share link here.
The PDF file has been uploaded to Google Drive: https://drive.google.com/drive/my-drive?dmr=1&ec=wgc-drive-globalnav-goto
Could you please share the exact shareable link of the PDF? The link you shared, takes us to our own Google Drive.
Okay. It has been approved.
