GroupDocs.Viewer does not display comments in document

Hi support team,

We are experiencing an issue with GroupDoc.Viewer where comments embedded in a document are not displayed when the document is opened through DocView.

Details

  • The issue occurs in the Production environment.
  • The document opens successfully and the main content is displayed correctly.
  • However, comments within the document are not visible in DocView.
  • When the same document is opened using other viewers or tools, the comments are displayed as expected.

Could you please confirm a few details so we can reproduce this?

  1. Is this in groupdocs.app or in your app using the GroupDocs.Viewer library? If it’s the library, could you please provide the Viewer version, output type (HTML/PDF/PNG/JPG), and a small code snippet that shows how you render the file.
  2. What is the file type (DOCX/PDF/etc.) and what kind of comments/annotations are missing? Please also upload the problem file (or a sanitized copy that still has the comments).
